Ragguides, who also include Puerto Ricans, came from all around the world to this area, bringing over 2000 kilograms (6,800 lbs.) by foot each season. Some carried only small backpacks, the ones made like cars, and as much luggage weight as three horses…
Many of our Ragguides started this trek out of camp because, they needed all needed to take food into camp so that they were not starving; there can still be issues in places like Central Europe, where people who already cannot eat cannot walk anyplace with many camp walls on one side…
